Microneedling

What Is It

Microneedling, also called collagen induction therapy, is a minimally invasive treatment that uses a device with fine, sterile needles to create controlled micro-injuries in the skin.

At ALux Spa, we use advanced medical-grade microneedling to stimulate your skin’s natural healing process, triggering the production of new collagen and elastin. This results in firmer, smoother, and more even-toned skin over time.

It’s a proven, safe option for improving texture, reducing the appearance of scars and fine lines, and giving skin a refreshed, healthier look—with minimal downtime.

How It Works

The microneedling device creates precise, microscopic punctures in the epidermis and dermis. These controlled injuries:

  • Activate fibroblasts to produce new collagen and elastin

  • Stimulate cell turnover for smoother skin texture

  • Increase the skin’s ability to absorb topical serums applied during or after treatment

When combined with regenerative serums such as PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) or growth factors, microneedling can produce even more dramatic improvements.

Smooth texture. Minimize scars. Restore a healthy glow

Pairs Beautifully With

For accelerated healing and advanced rejuvenation

When Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) is applied during microneedling, the concentrated growth factors penetrate deeply through the microchannels, boosting collagen and elastin production. This combination can improve skin density, speed up recovery, and enhance glow—making it a gold-standard choice for scar reduction and anti-aging.

For layered resurfacing and pigment correction

Alternating microneedling with customized chemical peels can target both textural concerns and surface pigment issues. The peel accelerates cell turnover, while microneedling addresses the structural collagen foundation beneath the skin.

For a clean, hydrated canvas before collagen induction

Starting with a HydraFacial before your microneedling session ensures the skin is deeply cleansed, exfoliated, and hydrated. This preps the surface for more even microneedling penetration and better absorption of active ingredients applied during the treatment.

Red Light Therapy

For faster recovery and boosted collagen synthesis

Post-microneedling, the skin’s healing processes are active and receptive. Red Light Therapy penetrates into the dermis to reduce inflammation, increase blood flow, and stimulate fibroblast activity—helping skin recover faster while amplifying collagen production for longer-lasting results
